10 x 45 min deep tissue massage. (1 per week) A post long run massage is an important part of your program. Your muscles become tired and tight and then are prone to injury. We can focus on the areas that may hold you back if not treated.
2 x nutrition consultations. You need to adjust your diet to fuel your body well for your runs. Different types of food will sustain you for longer. We will look closely at your current diet and advice you accordingly as your millage increases.
20 x group session passes. This gives you free range to attend any of our group classes. Many of them will compliment your training especially our running club, Pilates and circuit classes. I can’t stress how important it is to have a strong core to prevent yourself from other injuries, these classes will help you achieve that.
1 x Marathon consultation to discuss and plan your marathon training program. You will probably have different commitments which you will have to juggle to fit your training program in. Often it is overwhelming looking through programs which are tailored around a normal 9 – 5 working week. We design a program that suit you, the time you would like to complete the marathon in and your life style. Your consultation is with Louise who is a very experienced marathon runner and highly qualified PT so she know the pitfalls and how to overcome any issues you may have.
1 x Burn It Fitness Running Top. You will definitely get your wear out of it!
On top of this we offer continuous support via email, phone and regular training sessions. PLUS contact with other people in your area who are training for the same goal. This alone is priceless.
This package costs £650 (£47 per week) and will get you all the way to the finish line happily!
Training for any race takes a lot of discipline, dedication and focus.
All our trainers here at Burn It Fitness have first hand experience in all types of races from 5k’s right up to running full marathons. We can offer support to you in every way. Training tips, advice on what type of kit you need, how to fuel and hydrate yourself before and after a race.These things are what will help you cross that line with a smile on your face and knowing you have trained to your full potential.
Our weekly time table has 2 running groups evenly spread throughout the week. Monday evening and Thursday morning. In these classes we cover all aspects of training, hill, speed and agility training. We focus on your technique and getting mileage in your legs in preparation for the big day. We also organise runs following strict marathon training schedules in the months running up to the Brighton and London Marathons. A great way to feel supported and able to do your long runs with others training for the same events
Currently 2 of our trainers and many of our clients are training for next years marathon.
