I just wanted to say a massive a thank you for all your help and support in reaching my goal - target weight, reduced bingo wings and bikini fit body (well almost)! My friends, family and colleagues have all commented on the difference. Most importantly though I feel amazing - I had no idea it was possible to make such a transformation in just two months - and enjoy every minute of it! I am now hooked on burn it fitness, and will most definitely be back after the honeymoon, although I can't promise the 4-5 times a week dedication of the early weeks! I have been working with Louise for just under a year, and whilst having thought about a personal trainer for sometime found her cheerful disposition, obvious love of her work and commitment to making exercise fun, the catalyst I required to "get across the line". Each session is a little bit different, with Louise using variety to real effect that ensures that her sessions do not become monotonous. Best of all Louise will listen to you, and skilfully uses exercise substitution so that she minimises the time spent on sets that you really don't like (in my case burpees and full-body press-ups) whilst at the same time making sure you still obtain the necessary muscle group or aerobic work-out. However, be warned, this does not mean that she is a soft touch, for ultimately Louise's aim is to improve your level of fitness and help you enjoy it at the same time, even if you do end up smiling through gritted teeth. Forget diets, forget lipo-suction go spend sometime with Louise, for she really is an endorphin generator!

Testimonial: I met Michelle through the group training sessions, and immediately felt like she was interested in more than my class attendance. In discussing my weight loss goals, she spoke to the class about the importance of a balanced diet and arming ourselves with food knowledge. I had to learn more and booked myself to meet with her! After meeting with her for the first consultation, I felt energized to try new foods, work on portion size and empowered to make smart choices whether I was eating in or out. Michelle worked steadily with me on my total health (exercise, diet and mood) over the next 7 weeks, and I am happy to report that whilst having fun with recipes and new snacks, and attending her classes I dropped a whole dress size for my brother in-laws wedding! Today, I still use her guidance notes and food diaries to keep me balanced and on track.

In the last month I have gone from having no exercise in my life to attending between 3 - 4 classes in a week and I feel so much better for it. I have always avoided exercise because of many different reasons, one of which being that I was embarrassed that I was so unfit but bootcamp has proved to me that no matter what your fitness level is, by adding exercise it can only get better. I really enjoy the classes and felt encouraged from the start. All the instructors were so good and went the extra mile to make everyone feel a part of the group. The texts and e-mails of encouragement made all the difference and motivated me to keep going. I honestly feel that attending bootcamp has helped me make a positive healthy change in my life that I had not been able to succeed in doing on my own. This is the first time I've realised what a benefit regular exercise can be. I feel happier, healthier and really energised. I'm really glad I made the commitment to bootcamp and I'm looking forward to attending the next one!

I joined Burn It in March 2010 after 2 years without regular exercise and I promised myself that I would attend at least 3 classes per week. The first couple of months were tough, but I persevered. The Burn It team & other class members were invariably supportive & encouraging. My fitness slowly improved and, more importantly, I started to look forward to classes. These days Sara, Louise, Michelle and the variety of classes keep me motivated & challenged. I'm proud to say that regular exercise & Burn It are now an accepted & enjoyable part of my week.

I joined Burn it in 2010 to loose weight and tone up ready for my sister’s wedding. Now preparing for my own wedding I have taken full advantage of the serviced provided by Burn it! Sara is a fantastic personal trainer who really takes a keen interest in your progress, always pushing you to reach your potential, sometimes without you noticing. Louise and Michelle are first-class fitness instructors with a wide variety of classes and sessions to keep you interested. The team will take a real interest in your personal fitness and progress, as well as a genuine interest in your personal life, which really helps to keep you on track. Regular social events are organised with plenty of banter making the experience more enjoyable so you start to see fitness as part of your life not just a chore. This experience is defiantly something no gym or fitness group has ever managed to do for me. A 5* company!

I'd seen the Burn It sessions on the Heath, and emailed in. I was 2.5st over weight, couldn't run to end of the road or do a single press up. Over the years I've often started various exercise/diet regimes and then given up on them within 2 months due to lack of results or loss of motivation. I wasn't expecting too much, but Sara really is different. She's excellent at gauging your limits and pushing you just beyond them. She also knows how to make you feel just guilty enough so you don't miss training! In Nov 2008 I started training 3 times a week with Sara. Within a monthmel Sara had convinced me to start running on my own, and join the group sessions. Where I met Louise - who is also lovely and runs a great circuits class. I can now run about 8 miles, I've lost 1.5st and I my body feels better than it has done in about 10 years!

I met Sara this summer (2007) and I decided to recruit her for two sessions a week....WOW! initially, she worked me beyond my expectations - I couldn't even do a press up! But, through sweat, hard work and determination, all under Sara's instruction, I shed 2.5 stone and can now do 50 press ups!! All my friends comment on how well I look, my confidence levels are at an all time high - I feel better now than I did in my 20's. My advice is don't just think about getting in shape - DO IT, imagine where you could be in 3 months....and on a personal note - Thanks Sara !

I first became a client of Burn-it in July 2007 and got into a regular rhythm of working-out, shedding plenty of “middle age bulge”. But in March 2008, Sara (my original trainer) took maternity leave to have her baby daughter. But, every cloud has a silver lining. And this was proved to be true once I met with Louise in May 2008. It’s thanks to Louise that I completed a half-marathon in October 2008 (in a good time for a novice of 2:02) and am also currently training hard for the Flora London Marathon in April 2009! Louise ensures that I’m training correctly, exercising all the right muscle groups in order to prevent any injuries - we spend an hour a week running-up the hills of Greenwich park, sprinting, running backwards, cross-country etc. I now consider 10 miles to be an average run! So, from an 18 stone, beer swigging couch potato to a 14.5 stone Marathon runner. In my opinion pretty good going – and I owe it to Louise, Sara and Burn-it.

The best thing about Sara is thatvicky she's a brilliant teacher. She great at very clearly telling you how to do each exercise and really good at explaining what it's working and why it's good for you! Personal training sessions can get monotonous in a sweaty unfriendly gym, but training outdoors with Sara is fun and challenging. I train outside on Blackheath and in my back garden, come rain or shine and I love it! I’m seeing real results in my fitness levels and my body shape.

I started personal training sessions with Louise earlier this year with the aim of knocking two minutes off my 10k time in a month. Louise used a mixture of speed and strength training in the hour long sessions. I always came away feeling good about what I'd managed to do and was very pleased to knock that two minutes off when race day finally arrived. This Autumn term, Louise started circuit classes at the school I work at for the staff. We train every Wednesday for an hour after school. She makes sure we work hard to the last second but have fun and motivate each other too. Every single participant saw a marked improvement in their fitness level within 10 weeks. Needless to say, Louise has been booked for the Spring (and Summer we hope) term too! With Louise's help and encouragement I started to believe I could do things I hadn't even considered before. I have since completed 3 10k races, a 10 mile race and a half marathon with training underway for the Edinburgh Marathon in 2010.

RE - GROUP CLASSES ON BLACKHEATH.... I have been involved with Louise's circuit training sessions for the last five months and they have been great. I run regularly in the week and enjoy competing in 10k races so Louise's circuit training really adds diversity to my fitness.
